i logged on today and saw v7 (totally unexpected - i asked myself if it was this time of year already - it seems no length since v6 was released).
i like it. i like the extra space, the slimmer navigation divs. i think it works well. the comments look good too. and the button that brings you back to your messages if you are looking at deviations from your friends is great.

Mozilla labs recently released a new theme thing for firefox called personas. It's not so much a theme as an image that spans the address, menu and tabs area of firefox. The funny thing is that deviantArt has a persona. So, when I'm browsing dA, I change my persona to the that one, and it's like this totally screen. It's a bit mad, but kinda fun.

I don't have a lot of arty news. Apart from taking a few snaps with my camera and the two colouring pieces I did, there's not much happening. I'm more focused on writing these days and have been for the last while. I don't really want to post anything here because I don't want to loose first publishing rights for any of my stuff.

So that's it. I probably won't be much busier on here than I have been in the last while. But I still log in every single day to check my friends' stuff.

i must say, i'm really liking the "sleek" dA. i think the message centre is great and i love the new browsing window. it's easier to find everything, and things are grouped together nicely on the site.

so yea. thanks dA. i have no complaints about this version. i think it's great. because of this, i'm browsing the site more, looking at more art, leaving more comments, and having fun here.
